Anaheim/Orange
County
is located approximately 30 miles south of downtown Los Angeles and 90 miles
north of San Diego. Its central location makes it an excellent place to base
a Southern California vacation. The county itself spans over 700 square miles
of some of the best known and exciting sights in California.
Anaheim
is world-famous, largely because of Disneyland. The Anaheim Convention Center
hosts many conventions and conferences. In professional sports, the Anaheim
Stadium hosts baseball (California Angels), while the new Anaheim Arena, also
known as the Arrowhead Pond, is home to hockey (The Mighty Ducks).
