New Mexico, “The Land of Enchantment”, is captivating. In the crisp,
high-altitude air around Santa Fe, the light is sharp and dazzling. Colors
are vibrant, from the glowing earth tones of Pueblo buildings, to the
brilliant blue sky. There’s a cultural richness, with Indian, Hispanic and
Anglo groups influencing each other, while retaining strong ties to their

Our women’s tours explore this landscape, from the Sangre de Cristo

Between the Washington mainland and Vancouver Island, lie the unspoiled San Juan Islands. A visit is like stepping back in time, with no high-rises, freeways or fast-food chains. As your boat heads out toward the islands, you can feel the worries slip away...

It's a nature-lover’s paradise, with hundreds of islands, 200 species of birds, and the most bald eagles outside Alaska. The waters are famous for killer whales, and abundant with porpoises and seals. Rolling farmland and emerald forests meet the sea in craggy coastlines. Vistas are incredible, whether it’s island tops peaking through an early morning fog, or a sunny afternoon with views from Mt. Rainier to Canada.

We’ll hike through stately forests, explore sheltered coves by sea kayak, and sail on the breeze. We’ll cruise with a local naturalist to the orcas’ favored waters. We’ll stroll waterfront streets, and dine on fresh seafood. As you watch the boats bobbing in the harbor, the stresses of mainland life will seem a world away.
